travel to galipoli with bikes

We will arrive in Istanbul with push bikes to start our bike trip up to scandinavia. We have heard it is bad traffic cycling out of istanbul so we thought we start in gallipoli. Anyone know if/how/where we can put bikes on buses or train to get as close to gallipoli as possible.
