cheapest hostal & traveling!!!

hi all,
I will reach 31st jan 2009 in thessaloniki and planning to stay one night there.
so i need cheapest hostal/hotel for two person near to rail station and planning to travel istanbul by train or bus ( which one is cheapest)
I hope, i will hear soon from you people..

I think today you have reached safely to Thessaloniki. Train is cheaper to travel to Istanbul. Good luck!
