Apartments in Kiev

Hi
Am currently planning a trip to Kiev in May. Can someone kindly give me the name of a reputable company who could rent me an apartment for 5 days or so.
Whats the weather like in Kiev in May?
I may be there on Mayday or Victory day. Is this a good time to be there?? Will everything be closed down OR will everything be horribly crowded and expensive??

Answer by Marianna on Thursday, 16 April 2009 Hello, Flanno! May is the best time to visit Kiev. The weather is usually very warm, the sun is shining, trees are in blossom - that looks really great. It is really easy to rent an appartment in Kiev. You can try http://www.hotel-lux.net/eng/index.html or http://www.rentapartment.com.ua/apartment_kiev.html or just use Google search “rent appartment in Kiev”. Kiev is a big city so everything will be opened, there will be many people in the center of the city. But if you like quiet places - you wil find them, too. You can walk in numerous parks or visit some interesting places near Kiev. Most citizens are leaving Kiev in these days to travel or to spend time in the nature.
