Visas/Traveling in the Schegen Countries

I’m living in the Netherlands for a school program and traveling throughout the schegen territories. I wanted to stay longer than 90 days, but i’m not spending the 90 days consecutively on the mainland. I’ve already spent 4 consecutive days in the UK and plan to spend another 6 there before the end of my trip. Is it necessary for me to apply for a visa if I want to stay in France for two extra weeks at the close of my semester?
