I wish travel to Anchorage from Edmonton by land

Hey I’m colombian student of Biology and I will assist at International Congress in Edmonton between July 1-8. After the congress I wish to travel across to Canada and arrive in Alaska, maybe Anchorage, where I’d flight again to the USA.
Please I need to know about the more inexpensive way for travel from Edmonton to Anchorage by train. I consider through bus or Alaska highway too.
My travel end when I arrive to Anchorage
Yukon territories and Alaska are a dream for me. My budget for that travel is close to 1000 USDThanks for your help and time
