rental car insurance

I’m from the USA and will travel to cayman islands in July. 1) is there rental car insuraNce available aside from that offered by the rental car companies? If so, where can I get it? 2) How can I get a FULL copy of the terms of a rental car agency’s waiver, third party liability coverage, etc. before I leave on my trip or rent or reserve a car?
