Maui’s main airport is Kahului Airport (OGG). There are smaller commuter airports in Kapalua (JHM) and Hana (HNM).
Best time to visit:
Anytime of year is a good time to visit Maui. The average temperature here is between 75˚-85˚ F. Summer, between April and November, is warmer and drier while winter, between December and March, is a bit cooler. Trade winds keep things comfortable year-round. It is generally drier on the western (leeward) side and wetter on the eastern (windward) side.

Whale watching: In the winter months, the Auau channel between Maui, Lanai and Molokai is one of the best places to whale watch in the world.
Maui beaches: Maui has more than 80 incredible beaches with a combined shoreline that spans 120 miles.
