Have you ever been in the north of Poland or at polish sea?
There are many beautiful places like Gdansk, Sopot or Malbork.
Especially Malbor’s Castle founded in 1274 is worth seeing http://www.zamek.malbork.pl/index.php?lang=en
Gdansk is one of the oldes cities in Poland. Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot create metropolitan area called Tricity
I am not sure if you know that Gdansk was the birthplace of the Solidarity movement which, under the leadership of activist Lech Wałesa, played a huge role in bringing an end to Communist rule in Central Europe.
If you decide to spend your vacation in north of Poland I recommend website by which I always book rooms. It is World Hotel Reservations, it is safe website, has many pictures of hotels, give you comprehensive informations and detailes.
For exmaple look at Gdansk’s hotels http://www.world-hotel-reservations.com/Gdansk_en/
