Answer by NatashaBrighton on Tuesday, 07 September 2010 Hi Jeff, how great that you are planning to visit Singapore. This is such a great destination, unlike anywhere else I’ve been in Asia. My highlights were having a Singapore Sling at the Raffles Hotel, going on a boat trip along the Singapore River, wandering through the bright lights of Little India and shopping on Orchard Road. Another great thing to do is take a trip to the night safari. This really is a unique experience and a fascinating insight into the nocturnal animal kingdom. |

Answer by Marcus on Monday, 13 September 2010 Hi Jeff, not sure when you’re intending to drop by Singapore but here’s something interesting you can check out! Every year during the months of Sept/Oct, the Chinese in Singapore celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival. Some of the interesting things include a mass lantern walk, eating moon cakes and lots of carnival like bazaars around the area of Chinatown. Do check it out if you’ve the time, should be an interesting experience. Here’s a link that might help. |
