Yercaud disappointment.

An auto driver agreed for Rs300/- for 3 hrs tour but was away.So, we took another driver took Rs 400/ after saying Rs300/- for 3 hrs tour; did not go to The Retreat, Bear’s cave,Norton’s bungalow &The;Grange(not even their photos),to Rose garden & Lake or go near Killiyur falls or other falls.We wonder why Arthur’s seatwas fenced off by a private party & if the government owned it before.We did not see it after walking near it.We saw some churches,Servaroyan & Rajaeswari temples,(not bauxite mine),Pagoda point only 3 heaps of stones; not the 4th heap, did not know why the Anion stone (lingam or muniswaran) in front of Rama temople temple is called so (we saw a view from it in the mist).Did not see any wild animal or bird or village or tribal. Did not eat any local fruit as butter fruit,etc. He took Rs 30/- to go to bus stand from opp. Sports club (a 10 min. walk).A van took Rs 40/- from bus stand to opp. Sports club.
