I have been to Malaysia in my last vacation. It has a rich heritage, culture and country offers a great blend of culture & modernization. There are tons of places you can visit like butterfly park, the PETRONAS towers. Most of the hotels are affordable and have a friendly staff.  For tourists, http://www.tourism.gov.my/ is the official website of Malaysia.
To travel across the country, one can use public transport (tram/buses) or can rent a car.
