Question regarding going to abydos

Hello, we are two people who would like to go to abydos on Dec. with very limited time, because we should be at the luxor airport at 12:00noon which leaves at 13:00pm. However,I understand no tour leaves at 4am going to abydos, so probably we’ll take a taxi at around 4am, arriving there at 7am,departs at 9am, and back at luxor at 12. I also read that there are permits on going to abydos, how do we get this permit ? anybody ? How much for the taxi and the permit. Any suggestions ? thanks.
