POW - Camp Middletown Pennsylvania

My German father, Bruno Rothe ,was POW in Olmstead Field, Middletown.I found a little story, written by him in the camp during April 1945.He was reading the “Philadelphia Record” about the end of the war.He always told me , how correct he has beeen treated by military officials:good medical aid, good food, cultural events,newspapers,books! No torture.Thanks to all of the people of Middletown!Ursula Rothe,now Swiss , living in Bern, Switzerland!
