Are US dollars accepted in Iceland? Widely? Not at all?
Are ATMs readily available?

Answer by Nancy on Monday, 07 February 2011 No U.S. Dollars are not readily accepted in Ireland. I don’t think you will need big cash over there as you can book your hotel rooms, rental car etc. in advance. If you need euros then you can replace them at the airport to avoid any inconvenience. Do keep in mind to book from a reputed company and stay away from scam companies. |
