Answer by Leslie on Wednesday, 20 July 2011 The best time of year for hiking is the summer. Although leave early and take water with you as it gets hot. |

Answer by Trip Articles on Friday, 30 September 2011 The best months to hike in Spain are the Summer months, though note Spain’s weather can fluctuate radically. They do follow the same climate as Southern California where we are presently, as we share what is called, “Mediterranean weather.” This means cold and rainy in December,January, and February. It can also mean dreadfully hot in August so plan ahead if hiking during a heat spell! Spring is nice in the South, though do not buy into the adage that Spain is always “fair-weather!” |
